Opex Technologies announced the acquisition of Intellys Corporation, a Dallas-based technology advisory firm specializing in multi-vendor support, carrier solutions, and managed IT services. The transaction is aimed at expanding Opex’s national presence and creating a larger platform serving enterprise customers across a range of industries.

Founded in 2004, Intellys provides advisory services in carrier solutions, hosted voice, managed services, and on-site technical support. The combination brings together two independent technology advisory firms with a shared focus on helping clients navigate increasingly complex technology decisions.

The combined company will offer clients broader capabilities across cloud computing, connectivity, cybersecurity, managed services, and other technology categories. Opex said the transaction expands its geographic reach across the United States and strengthens its expertise in areas including artificial intelligence, data centers, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and customer experience technologies.

The merged platform will also incorporate proprietary AI-powered tools, including dAIsy, an AI agent engine, and OpexIQ, the company’s request-for-information and request-for-proposal platform. In addition, Opex plans to leverage larger engineering and project management teams and integrate best practices from both organizations.

According to the companies, Intellys customers will continue working with their existing advisors while gaining access to Opex’s broader set of capabilities. Opex clients, meanwhile, will benefit from expanded geographic coverage and deeper technical expertise. All Intellys employees will join Opex as part of the transaction, with the companies emphasizing a client-focused integration approach.
