Two of the four limited editions feature a titanium case plated with 24-karat gold. In the ‘Gold” version, the Apple logo is even made entirely of 18-karat gold. The back of this version is made of a carbon composite, whereas the other three models feature crocodile leather. Typically, Caviar smartphones are not only more expensive but also offer somewhat limited functionality, as the choice of material for the back panel does not support magnetic MagSafe accessories or wireless charging.
Pricing and availability
The Caviar Apple iPhone Ultra “Flagship” collection is limited to 19 units. The smartphone is now available for pre-order at Caviar’s online store, though prices will only be confirmed upon request. Delivery is expected no earlier than after the iPhone Ultra’s launch in September.
