The Android version of the “Google Health” app, which was revamped from the former “Fitbit” app, began rolling out its v5.0.2 update on Monday, June 22, 2026.

As officially announced, the “Google Health” app v5.0.2 update includes a total of 14 new features and bug fixes across six categories: the “Today” and “Health” tabs, as well as sleep, fitness, nutrition, and others. Notably, the Android version of “Google Health” v5.0.2 adds several new features, including a drag-and-drop chart reordering function for the “Main Metrics” section.

Please note that the iOS version of the “Google Health” app v5.0.2 update was released in mid-June 2026.

  • Expanded display of focus metrics
    • The “Today” tab’s focus metrics dashboard has been expanded, allowing you to view more metrics without swiping right or switching tabs (configurable by tapping the pencil icon and selecting “Expanded View”).
  • Simplified metrics reordering
    • Reordering metrics on the “Today” tab is now easier. Simply enter edit mode (tap the pencil icon), tap a metric, and select another metric to swap their positions.
