Per a Google blog post dated May 12, 2026, Gemini Intelligence will come to Android as a suite of agentic AI features that can automate multi-step tasks, summarize web content in Chrome, polish spoken messages via the new “Rambler” tool, and let users build custom widgets with natural language. Per the same post, these features will roll out on select Samsung and Google phones this summer, with broader availability later in the year. Reporting from How-To Geek (citing 9to5Google) documents steep device requirements for the marquee local model, including support for Gemini Nano v3, a qualifying flagship SoC, and at least 12GB of RAM, which rules out many phones released before 2026. Digital Trends notes Google has released Android 17 QPR1 Beta 4 for Pixel devices on June 10, 2026, and expects the stable Android 17 build in June or early July 2026.
