The Korea Artificial Intelligence Game Association announced that a total of 35 indie game developers and participating teams are taking part in ‘Indie Arcade,’ a domestic indie game exhibition brand hall operated in conjunction with the 2026 PlayX4 global game exhibition hosted by Gyeonggi Province.

The Korea Artificial Intelligence Game Association announced that a total of 35 indie game developers and participating teams will take part in “Indie Arcade,” a domestic indie game exhibition brand hall operated in conjunction with the global game exhibition 2026 PlayX4 hosted by Gyeonggi Province.

This event will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan from Thursday, May 21 to Sunday, May 24, starting at 10:00 AM, and will feature indie games of various popular genres, including roguelike action, RPG/simulation, and adventure/puzzle.

The Association stated that it has organized exhibition zones by genre to allow visitors to view the exhibition more conveniently and experience games that suit their tastes. In the Roguelike & Action Zone, visitors can find titles centered on fast-paced combat and gameplay based on replayability, while the RPG & Simulation Zone showcases works emphasizing worldviews, growth elements, and management content. Finally, in the Adventure & Puzzle Zone, visitors can experience a variety of games centered on storytelling, exploration, and puzzle elements.
Exhibitors and teams are preparing exhibitions across various genres, covering not only PC and console games but also mobile platforms. They plan to provide visitors with a broader gaming experience through content that enhances on-site interaction and interactive elements.
