Google is messing around again.

That’s what I thought when I saw the headlines about ” Pixel Glow,” a rumored addition to future Google smartphones.

Can you blame me for thinking that? Google does weird stuff with the Google Pixel every now and again, and it’s been quite a while since Active Edge and Motion Sense, so hey, we’re due something new and silly from the Pixel team.

I was ready to dismiss it as pure silliness once again. But the more I read and thought about it, the more I realized Pixel Glow might be an excellent idea. It could be exactly what we need.
