ⓘ Juno Computers

The Juno Tab 4 13” has an Intel processor.

Juno Computers has begun accepting pre-orders for one of its two new Linux tablets. With a price tag of almost $1,000, the Juno Tab 4 13” won’t ship for a few months.

A few weeks ago, Juno Computers announced the Juno Tab 4 10.5” LTE and the Juno Tab 4 13”. However, that announcement didn’t include pricing and availability details. Juno has now revealed the price for the larger 13-inch model and has also begun accepting pre-orders.

According to the product page, the Juno Tab 4 13” is available to pre-order for $989 in the US and £949 (inc. VAT) in the UK. For an additional $12/£10, Juno will ship the Linux tablet with an encrypted disk. The manufacturer has also provided details about when the tablet will be available.

Juno says that production of the tablet will begin after pre-order ends, but doesn’t say when pre-order closes. It is also stated that shipping will begin approximately 90 to 100 days after the pre-order campaign ends. This means, the earliest date for the Juno Tab 4 13” to get into the hands of buyers is October 2026.

Nevertheless, for almost $1,000, buyers are getting a Linux Tablet with a 13-inch 1600 × 2560 60Hz IPS display with stylus support, an Intel Core Ultra 5 115U processor, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and a removable 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD. It also has a 5MP camera on the front and rear, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, two USB 3.1 Type-C ports with support for video out, and a single USB 3.0 Type-A port.

The Juno Tab 4 13” lacks a microSD card slot and an LTE modem, but has stereo speakers, a microphone, and two fans for cooling, all of which are housed in a magnesium alloy body. It features a 42.71Wh battery and comes with a 65W charger. Like the smaller model, it comes with a detachable backlit keyboard and a stylus.

As at the time of writing, the smaller 10-inch LTE model doesn’t have a price tag and a release date.
