Dubai-based developer Hardbit has announced that its free-to-play open-world action game Grand Outlaws: RP Life Online will launch globally on Android and iOS in late summer 2026, following an eight-month beta testing period.
The studio says the title has completed extensive testing, with player engagement and technical performance providing confidence ahead of its worldwide release. An international open beta remains available on Android via Google Play, allowing players to continue providing feedback before the full launch.
Set across two islands, Grand Outlaws is an online open-world action game centred around player interaction, roleplaying systems and competitive multiplayer. Alongside free-roaming gameplay, the title will launch with battle royale, deathmatch and racing modes, while additional limited-time events are planned for future updates.
According to Hardbit, community feedback from the beta is informing balancing decisions, content priorities and the continued development of the game’s roleplay features.
“Grand Outlaws is one of the most ambitious projects we’ve ever taken on,” said Hardbit CEO Michael Vaksman. “The international beta on Android is already live and growing, and by the end of summer the full Grand Outlaws experience goes global — on both Android and iOS. We want the launch version to feel like something the community helped build, not something handed to them.”
The title is designed as a free-to-play experience with progression centred on player skill, featuring character progression, weapon mastery, vehicle customisation and online PvP.
Hardbit’s team includes developers whose previous credits span games such as Alan Wake 2, World of Tanks Blitz, Hello Neighbor, Deadside, Divinity: Original Sin, Blitzkrieg 3 and Pixel Gun 3D. Grand Outlaws marks the studio’s latest effort to establish an original IP in the mobile action space.
