On top of landing AMD FSR 4 support, an update was pushed out after for Proton Experimental to fix up a fix other issues running games on Linux / SteamOS.

As a quick reminder on what it is – Proton Experimental is like their testing ground for future stable numbered version Proton updates (like the upcoming Proton 11 that’s still in Beta). You can install any version of Proton by just searching for “Proton” in your Steam Library. If you already have them installed, they will just show up as updates in your Steam Downloads. Check out the GamingOnLinux Guide to all the different Proton versions.

Here’s the changes for the June 24th update:

  • Fixed DIRT 5 crashing on CPUs with hybrid cores.
  • Improved controller support on desktops in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
  • Fixed Arc Raiders being broken on some setups after after a recent game update.
  • Fixed Trove Public Test Server failing to launch after a recent game update.
  • Fixed Proton 11 regressions:
    • Crysis 2 Remastered should no longer hang on game load when ray tracing is enabled.

Great to see even more fixes coming in just before the Steam Machine release.
