Samsung’s most secretive display feature just got a lot less exclusive. A new leak from a reliable Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, claims the Galaxy S27 Pro — a phone Samsung hasn’t even officially confirmed yet — will carry the same hardware-level Privacy Display found only on the $1,200+ Galaxy S26 Ultra. Here’s what the leak actually says, what Privacy Display does, and why this matters beyond spec-sheet bragging rights.

What Is Samsung’s Privacy Display, Exactly?

If you’ve never heard of Privacy Display before, here’s the short version: it’s a screen that’s hard to read from the side.

Until now, it’s been exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The new leak suggests that’s about to change.

What the Galaxy S27 Pro Leak Actually Says

The leak comes from Digital Chat Station, a Weibo-based tipster with a strong track record for Samsung hardware details. According to the post:

  • The Galaxy S27 Pro will feature a 6.47-inch display — noticeably smaller than the S26 Plus’ 6.7-inch panel, and positioned as a compact but premium option.
  • Samsung is actively testing Privacy Display for the Pro model, the same hardware-level feature currently exclusive to the…
