Now that artificial intelligence (AI) has become a survival condition, not an option for corporate management, the important question is not “whether to introduce AI,” but “how to connect AI to performance.” KAIST’s Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) course and alumni activities were a big reference point for me to find an answer to this question on the spot.
The 16 weeks with CAIO’s 6th alumni were more than just a curriculum. At the beginning of the process, groups were formed, and alumni from different industries and organizations became a team to consider the company’s AX application task together. From the last class to the presentation of AI Transition (AX) application cases, the weekly time to share on-site problems, discuss solutions, and review feasibility has been a valuable experience. The CAIO course remains a great learning time for me and a memory of collaboration that will be remembered for a long time.
In particular, the alumni network by flag is the biggest asset of the CAIO General Association.
CAIO General Fraternity is not just a social gathering. It is a knowledge community where leaders from different industries such as manufacturing, finance, construction, distribution, platform, and public gather to accumulate AX execution experience. One company’s trial and error is an important reference case for another, and one alumni’s experiment is practically helpful in establishing another alumni’s strategy. In this respect, the CAIO alumni network is more of an actionable platform that makes the AI transition of companies a reality.
HDC Labs is currently promoting various AX tasks such as AIoT, spatial AI, platform-based services, AI agents, and Generative AI utilization. Based on data generated in residential and commercial spaces, it is focusing on increasing operational efficiency, improving customer experience, and…
