Wipr Filtr has been added as a new feature from the developer that focuses heavily on privacy to prevent apps from displaying ads on devices within the Apple ecosystem like iPhones, Macs and iPads. The feature is found within Wipr as an optional add-on that leverages the ability to block access to certain websites or domains with URL filters. This means that ad blocking will take place on the app level for an enhanced browsing experience that was previously reserved for web browsers.

Wipr Filtr is priced at $5 per year as an add-on and is the first app to utilize the aforementioned URL filters feature thus far. The feature responds to increasing consumer weariness when it comes to privacy online and could help to greatly streamline the user experience.
