Omniscient, a company specializing in AI-driven brain analysis technology, announced that it has secured $27.2 million (AU$41.1 million) in an oversubscribed Series D funding round. The financing was co-led by OIF Ventures and the Australian National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC), with participation from existing investors including Will Vicars and Gina Rinehart AO.

The new capital will be used to accelerate the commercialization of Omniscient’s FDA-cleared Quicktome® platform and support the development of new clinical applications. The company also plans to expand into emerging areas such as brain-computer interfaces (BCI), stroke care, and movement disorders.

Omniscient’s technology is built around connectomics, a field focused on mapping and understanding the brain’s neural connections. Its Quicktome® platform uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized connectomic maps that visualize functional brain regions and neural pathways associated with language, movement, and cognition. The company says these insights can help clinicians reduce neurological complications and improve patient outcomes across the continuum of neurological care.

The funding comes shortly after a significant reimbursement milestone for the company. CPT® code 1039T was established to create a billing pathway for connectomic analysis, a development that Omniscient believes will help drive broader adoption of its technology across the U.S. healthcare system.

According to the company, the Series D proceeds will support two primary initiatives. The first is accelerating market penetration by expanding specialized sales and clinical support teams to serve a growing number of major healthcare networks in the United States.
