Just months after Doja Cat quietly pounced into Billboard history books for becoming the only female rapper to ever have TWO albums to stay on the Billboard 200 for longer than 150 weeks (2019’s ‘Hot Pink‘ and 2021’s ‘Planet HER‘), the GRAMMY winner recently learned the latter LP has zoomed past Cardi B‘s blockbuster 2018 debut ‘Invasion of Privacy‘ in another record-setting race.

‘Planet HER’ is listed at #197 on the updated Billboard 200 a whopping 230 weeks after first debuting at #2 on the all-genre chart in 2021.

Her highest-charting body of work to date, the LP is home to Hot 100 hits ‘Woman,’ ‘Get Into It (Yuh),’ and ‘Kiss Me More‘ and sits at 2x Platinum at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales equivalence of 2 million in the United States alone.

Formerly the longest-charting female Rap album released this decade, ‘Planet’ now owns the title of overall longest-charting Hip-Hop project by a woman as Cardi’s ‘Invasion’ saw its legendary run end at the 226-week mark.

That effort – home to hits ‘Bodak Yellow,’ ‘I Like It,’ ‘Be Careful,’ and more – made history when it became the first female Rap album to spend over 200 weeks on the Billboard 200.
