Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro color lineup may have just been revealed, thanks to images of a fresh batch of dummy units shared by a noted Apple leaker.
The good news: there’s a beautiful new dark cherry option. Now the bad: the popular cosmic orange iPhone is apparently going away.

While many iPhone buyers focus on the cameras, battery life, etc., color remains important for plenty of people. Because most of us keep our smartphone with us throughout the day, it’s seen as a personal accessory that reflects our style.
Hence the interest in the colors for the next iPhone models. And we may already know what they are.
Images posted early on Friday by Sonny Dickson on a range of social media sites appear to show non-functional iPhone 18 Pro models in four different finishes, offering what could be the clearest look yet at the colors Apple is preparing for its 2026 flagship smartphones.
The leaked models appear in dark gray, silver, light blue and a striking deep red finish that many observers are calling “dark cherry.” The dark red color has been the subject of rumors for months and is expected to serve as the signature look for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. Supply-chain reports have described the shade as a wine-inspired red rather than the brighter reds Apple has used on some previous devices.

Dickson’s images agree with leaks from April that gave a first glimpse at the range of colors for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
No more cosmic orange iPhone
If the leaks are accurate, the new dark cherry option is set to replace the cosmic orange finish introduced with the iPhone 17 Pro series. If true, anyone who really wants a cosmic orange iPhone will have to choose the 2025 model.
