He has expertise in executive search, market intelligence, and leadership assessment, partnering with organizations to identify and attract senior executives across enterprise technology, digital transformation, go-to-market, consulting, and technical delivery functions.
Mr. Velilla has nearly a decade of experience in executive search and talent advisory, with a strong track record supporting Fortune 500 companies, private equity-backed businesses, and high-growth organizations across a broad range of industries. He is known for his ability to build trusted relationships with executive leaders, develop highly targeted search strategies, and deliver exceptional candidate and client experiences throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Prior to joining Modern, Mr. Velilla spent nearly eight years at JM Search, where he most recently served as vice president within the firm’s technology and professional services practices. During his tenure, he led executive recruiting engagements for senior technology and business leaders, advised clients on talent market dynamics, and helped drive business development initiatives across the practice.
