A couple of months after I started writing for a living, my Gmail inbox started flooding with unnecessary emails, which cluttered my inbox and pushed important ones out of sight.

It led to delayed replies to urgent emails — or, in some cases, no reply at all.

I didn’t know back then what I was looking forward to achieving was what famous productivity expert Merlin Mann coined “Inbox Zero.”

I spent years using the Gmail app, hoping Google would launch features that would help me achieve it someday.

It didn’t happen, and I’m tired of waiting. I finally moved to Spark Mail, the Android email app that finally made Inbox Zero achievable.
