Disguise has partnered with Creative Technology (CT) to deliver visual playback infrastructure for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. The 70th edition of the contest takes place May 16, with semi-finals on May 12 and 14. This is the eighth consecutive year the two companies have collaborated on Eurovision.

Disguise’s GX 3 media servers are powering the event’s visuals, supporting an LED-driven stage design and optimized IP-VFC workflows. Eurovision 2026 will be one of the first major live broadcast productions to deploy Disguise’s latest IP-VFC firmware update, which delivers stability and performance enhancements for GX 3 servers for ST 2110 workflows. Additional technology partners include Megapixel for video processing and ROE Visual for LED displays.

“Eurovision always succeeds in raising the bar creatively and technically,” says Niklas Ljung, Group Technical Director, Creative Technology. “This year, the scale and flexibility of the LED environment is a key part of that ambition. Working with Disguise, we’ve been able to refine our workflows and build a system that supports both the creative vision and the reliability demands of a live broadcast of this magnitude.”

“The Eurovision Song Contest continues to set the benchmark for innovation in live entertainment, and is an incredibly exciting early showcase of our latest IP-VFC technology in a demanding broadcast environment,” says Camilla Powell, Head of Product, Disguise. “Through our continued partnership with Creative Technology, we’re proud to support one of the most ambitious live productions in the world.”

More than 35 broadcasters are expected to cover the event, with a global audience that regularly exceeds 160 million viewers.
