Sixteen students were recognized during a pinning ceremony on May 6 after completing the Blinn College District Radiologic Technology Program.

“These graduates have shown tremendous growth, mastering both clinical skills and the patient-centered approach that define excellence in radiologic technology,” Program Director Tina Kocurek said. “Their hard work and commitment have been inspiring, and I look forward to all they will accomplish in their careers.”

Radiologic technologists are the nation’s third-largest group of healthcare professionals behind physicians and nurses. They use specialized imaging equipment to help physicians diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, radiologic technologists earn a median annual salary of nearly $79,000, with employment projected to grow 5% from 2024 to 2034.

The spring 2026 graduating class included Julie Alvarado of Bryan, Kalli Baker of Gonzales, Chelsea Butler of Giddings, Ceyonce Harrison of Caldwell, Michael Imler of Bryan, Averi Johnson of College Station, Reese Lindley-Noble of Tyler, Brandon Lopez of Bryan, Rebecca Lowery of Willis, Nathan Ludlow of College Station, Alyssa Marek of Bryan, Austin Pittman of College Station, Hattie Schalla of Sealy, Mailey Sherman of Wallisville, Kaylee Tye of Allen and Kara Vo of Bryan.
