The launch of iPhone 18 Pro is still a few months away, but we’ve already started seeing rumors about the kind of colors we should expect. While last year’s iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max only offered three color options, the most popular of which was Cosmic Orange, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to come in four different shades.

Here’s what we know about iPhone 18 Pro colors, based on the leaks and rumors we’ve heard.

There has been a lot of buzz about Apple’s experimenting with a new red-colored iPhone this year, with later rumors indicating that it would be more like burgundy than the bright (Product) Red devices we’ve seen in previous years. Mark Gurman at Bloomberg likened the color to wine rather than something bright like fruit punch

According to leaks, this color will be a dark red/purple blend that Apple is going to call “Dark Cherry.” It may not be as bright and vibrant as Cosmic Orange, but it’s still an eye-catching color that we haven’t seen on other devices before.

Other leaks suggest that Apple will be releasing a light blue color option, which is expected to look like the Mist Blue iPhone 17. However, I suspect Apple will do something to help it stand out, considering the iPhone 17 should stay on sale following the release of the iPhone 18 series.

These will reportedly be joined by more traditional color options of Black/Dark Gray and Silver, but whether Apple will stick to those names or not isn’t entirely clear right now. It may be that there will be an Apple-inspired name for both options, or Apple may stick with simplicity — as it did with the silver iPhone 17 Pro.
