iPhone Owners Could Get Money In $250M Apple Settlement: See If You Qualify

Millions of iPhone buyers could receive payouts from a proposed $250 million settlement over claims of misleading advertising from Apple.

The tech giant agreed to the settlement on Tuesday, May 5, according to a court filing. The agreement follows a class action lawsuit over Apple’s advertising campaign for some of its newer iPhones.

The lawsuit accuses Apple of misleading millions of customers into buying its devices with advertising about new AI-powered features on the iPhone 16. The company’s promises included an enhanced Siri personal digital assistant, but the features weren’t available.

Apple denied wrongdoing but agreed to the settlement, which still needs final court approval.

Anyone who bought any iPhone 16 model or certain iPhone 15 models may be eligible to submit a claim. The phones must have been purchased between Monday, June 10, 2024, and Saturday, March 29, 2025.

According to Clarkson Law Firm, anyone with a valid claim could receive a presumptive payment of $25 for each eligible device. That amount could increase up to $95 per device, depending on how many claims are filed.

A settlement administrator website is expected to be available “in a few weeks.”
