DNS is one of the very first settings I change on any Android phone, mainly because I can’t stand how aggressive ads have become. They’re everywhere now — inside apps, buried in websites, baked into games, and sometimes even hiding in your phone’s own software.
For the longest time, AdGuard was my go-to solution for dealing with that mess. But after trying NextDNS on a whim, I realized there was a much better way to handle ads, trackers, and privacy on Android.
