Platt Hill Nursery has opened a new Garden Center in Rockford.
The nursery, 6101 E. Riverside Blvd., celebrated its opening with a three-day event in early April that included a ribbon cutting, according to a community announcement.
A new garden destination has arrived in Rockford. Platt Hill Nursery opened April 3–5 and is now hosting a Big Tree Sale throughout April.
Local leaders and community members attended the event, which featured children’s programming and opportunities for gardeners to explore the greenhouse and nursery.

Platt Hill Nursery has launched a Big Tree Sale, offering special pricing on a variety of shade trees, ornamental trees and landscape-ready varieties throughout April, according to the announcement.
