Smartphones have big screens, little screens, AMOLED screens, LCD screens, and even e-ink screens. But rarely does a smartphone have two screens.

We’ve seen dual-screen smartphones in the past, but we’ve never seen one like this. Chinese manufacturer Bigme has become known for its e-ink devices, including smartphones, tablets, e-readers, and more. It’s breaking new ground with the Bigme HiBreak Dual, which sports a color e-ink display, as well as a regular LCD display (via Android Authority).

We don’t actually know much about the Bigme HiBreak Dual outside its name and unique selling point. Bigme posted a teaser image on the store page for the device, and there’s not much there except for an email prompt to find out more when it’s announced.

However, Bigme did take to Reddit to offer Redditors the chance to guess the device’s specifications. Amongst those specs it prompted for discussion were stylus support, 5G connectivity, Android 14 or 15, and dual SIM support. While it’s possible it’s not going to offer all of these features in the Dual, it would be a little disappointing if it effectively hyped up a feature it wasn’t going to offer. Therefore, you can probably expect it to have all of those.

Dual screen smartphones are nothing new, but they are quite rare. We’ve seen previous attempts from Yotaphone and Hisense, but…
