The California Lottery accidentally shared the address of a lottery ticket winner.

The California Lottery announced that three California winners won $5 million or more.

A winner won $5 million after purchasing a Superstar Scratcher from a Harvest Market located at 14055 Burbank Blvd. in Van Nuys.

A winner won $10 million from a 7’s Scratcher purchased from a Dolce Espresso located at 2078 Tully Road in San Jose.

A winner won $12 million through a SuperLotto Plus purchased at King Wine & Liquor 2 at 2346 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA 95822.

However, upon the initial release of information about the $12 million winner, the winner’s personal address was revealed instead of the store location.

The California Lottery wrote in response to the mistake, “Protecting player privacy and ensuring accurate information are top priorities for the California Lottery. This has never happened for the California Lottery, and we are reviewing our protocols to ensure this doesn’t occur again. We regret the mistake and appreciate the public’s understanding as we work quickly to ensure all information shared is accurate and secure.”
