Reclaim Security has secured $20 million in its Series A funding round aimed at changing how organizations address security vulnerabilities. Acrew Capital is the lead investor, along with QP Ventures and Ibex Investors. A primary component in the Reclaim Security platform is what the company calls an AI Security Engineer. This autonomous engineer is designed to not only identify exposures but also implement fixes in a safe and scalable manner.
Its platform has the capability of analyzing and determining the likelihood of the different attack vectors to be taken, followed by the deployment of an attack and automated remediation. The time required to resolve security vulnerabilities is greatly reduced.
Reclaim differs from other security products by not only providing alerts and recommendations; the platform also performs remediation. This becomes even more crucial with the advancement of cyber threats, given the reliance of attackers on automated systems to exploit and attack vulnerabilities.
This funding round contributes to the overall $26 million in capital raised by the company to boost its AI-based cybersecurity capabilities.
