Just a week after Samsung introduced its latest Galaxy S26 lineup, Apple has announced a more affordable addition to the iPhone 17 family. The new iPhone 17e keeps the same $599 starting price as its predecessor while adding several meaningful upgrades, including MagSafe support and an improved camera system.
Positioned as the budget-friendly model in the lineup, the iPhone 17e is designed for users who want modern iPhone features without stepping up to the higher-priced models.

A19 Chip and Improved Performance
At the heart of the iPhone 17e is Apple’s latest A19 chip, the same processor used in the base iPhone 17. The chip features a six-core CPU with two performance cores running up to 4.26GHz and four efficiency cores running up to 2.6GHz, along with a four-core GPU and Neural Engine for demanding tasks such as gaming and AI processing.
