I’ve always been loyal to Samsung Internet, as it is better than Chrome in many ways. But as I became more conscious of my digital footprint, a nagging feeling started to grow. Every time I opened a new tab, I felt like I was being funneled into an ecosystem designed to track my interests rather than serve my needs. The “secret mode” was fine, but was it enough?

Eventually, I hit a breaking point with the persistent news feeds and the subtle creep of telemetry, and I wanted a new browser that is clean, private, and entirely under my control. After testing several privacy browsers, I eventually landed on Waterfox. It’s an open-source, privacy-focused browser that has since reshaped how I think about mobile browsing.
