Orchestra, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud software, announced on the 9th that it has won an order for the “Internal Network Cloud Change Management System and Establishment of Operating Standards” project promoted by the Bank of Korea and has begun building the system.
With the recent acceleration of cloud native transformation and DevOps (DevOps) based automation in the financial sector, fast and reliable system management is facing limitations with existing manual-driven operation methods. In response, the Bank of Korea pushed for the project to introduce an automated change management system to enhance the stability of financial services and to establish advanced operating standards.
Orchestro will apply its DevOps integrated management platform, “TROMBONE,” to this project. “Trumbon is a solution that has already been introduced to a number of key financial systems and has been proven to be stable,” the company said. “Based on this, Orchestro plans to introduce a change management system optimized for the cloud environment of the Bank of Korea’s internal network and establish detailed operational standards and procedures to support it.”
The core of this project is the automation of CI/CD (continuous integration/deployment) entire cycle from change request to approval, distribution, and history management. Orchestra standardizes the source code and distribution process, and establishes an integrated management system linked to existing systems such as GitLab. In particular, it will establish a sustainable operating system even in a network separation environment where security is important, and fully support the strengthening of the Bank of Korea’s operating capabilities through user education and technology internalization processes.
