On Monday, February 9, the House Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee is scheduled to hear SB 1128, the “Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act” which will protect sportsmen’s credit card privacy rights.

Use the Take Action button to email the committee and urge them to vote “Yes” to SB 1128. Twenty states have already enacted this important privacy law to protect their sportsmen. It is time for Missouri to do the same.

Gun-control extremists are using every possible avenue to disarm law-abiding sportsmen and gun owners, including how to uncover personal identifying information on who owns firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition in America. The latest tactic is to track the credit card purchases of firearms and ammunition.

How SB 1128 Protects Missouri Sportsmen

SB 1128 prohibits a financial institution or an agent of a financial institution from using a firearms code in a way that distinguishes a firearms dealer physically located in this state from a general merchandise retailer or a sporting goods retailer located in the state.
