Financial Excellence Limited recently organised a training programme titled ‘Ensuring Cyber Security Resilience in the Financial Ecosystem’ in Gulshan in Dhaka.
The program brought together 40 professionals from 13 banks and financial institutions, said a press release.
The programme highlighted the growing importance of cyber security, ICT risk management, and regulatory compliance in Bangladesh’s financial sector.
Additional director (ICT) of Bangladesh Bank, SM Tofayel Ahmed (Noman), inaugurated the training programme.
He emphasised the need for strong cybersecurity governance, resilience planning, and strict regulatory compliance to protect the financial ecosystem.
The program focuses on cyber security risks, ICT risk management, cloud security, SOC, VAPT, IS audit, and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning (BCP/DRP) for banks and NBFIs.
CEO of FinExcel Nilufar Rahman said that cybersecurity has become a strategic and governance priority, not merely a technical issue.
She reaffirmed FinExcel’s commitment to strengthening institutional resilience through industry-relevant capacity-building initiatives.
