It’s been almost a year since I started using NotebookLM, and unlike many other AI tools I have used before, I’ve never found Google’s research assistant gimmicky.
NotebookLM clicked with me instantly when I first started using it, becoming my favorite learning destination.
I sing NotebookLM’s praises with even more conviction today than I ever did before, as Google has improved it significantly over the last few months.
It launched many new tools to help you learn more quickly, with Audio Overviews being my favorite.
However, after using NotebookLM for months, I don’t see it solely as a tool for learning fast. It’s more than that, and it’s a shame that Google never highlighted it enough.
I’d even go so far as to say that helping people learn fast isn’t NotebookLM’s biggest selling point. I realized this after I started using the AI tool slightly differently a couple of weeks ago.
NotebookLM’s biggest strength lies somewhere else, and it has nothing to do with helping people learn.
