Google’s “Android Show” on Tuesday included a new list of devices set to receive AirDrop.
AirDrop compatibility makes it easier to send files between iPhones and Android devices via the Android Quick Share menu. So far, AirDrop on Android is available on the latest Samsung Galaxy S26 series, Google’s Pixel 10 and Pixel 9 phones, including the Pixel 9a, the Oppo Find X9 series and Find N6, and the recent Vivo X300 Ultra.
During its Android 17 presentation, Google tipped more than a dozen phones that will get AirDrop support “soon.”
It’s not clear whether Samsung includes the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S25 FE in that lineup.
According to The Verge, Google separately confirmed plans to bring the tech to Xiaomi devices, but has yet to share which phones will support it.

If your phone isn’t on this list, that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on every AirDrop feature. Other Android phones will soon be able to generate a QR code through the Quick Share menu, which iOS users can scan to share files. It will likely take slightly more work than traditional AirDrop, but it’s still a quick share between mobile OSes.
Google says the QR code feature will begin rolling out now, but it won’t be available to all devices until sometime in June.
