Google Keeping The Fold The Same
Google appears to be keeping the same foldable phone design as the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Renders from OnLeaks show the same heft as the 2025 model. While it is slimmer (by 0.2mm when folded and 0.4 mm when opened), Google has not followed the design cues of the likes of Honor and Oppo. Forbes contributor Janhoi McGregor takes a closer look at the benefits:
“There are some obvious benefits to Google’s foldable design. Firstly, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a huge 5015mAh battery in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 4400mAh. I have used both extensively, and the difference is more than noticeable. The company has doubled down on battery life with its Pixel 10 and Pixel 9 series too.”
Honor Brings Thin To The Flagship
Not every manufacturer is turning away from the ‘thin is in’ fashion of 2025. Honor’s latest entry in its Magic 8 range follows the svelte style. The Honor Magic 8 Pro air clocks in at just 6.1mm thick, while still sporting flagship-level specifications, including a 5,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery. And it’s the battery tcapacity that stands out in this form factor:
