The settings gear next to it lets you access the full My Activity page.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tapping the pill-shaped search field takes you to a fullscreen experience that\u2019s fairly straightforward and lets you more easily continue old conversations. We\u2019re seeing wide availability on iOS and Android today. Chat search was previously limited to the web.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking of the iPhone app, Google has rolled out a redesign of the prompt box that was previewed at I\/O 2026 in May. Instead of being docked to the bottom of your screen like a sheet, the new rounded rectangle floats.<\/p>\n<p>\t<span class=\"outbrain-ad-label\">Advertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more substantial change there is how the \u2018plus\u2019 menu adds the ability to upload \u201cFiles\u201d on mobile, which is already live on google.com\/ai.
