The Journal regrets the error.<\/p>\n<p>Pennington County said Thursday, July 9, officials continue working with state and federal partners to investigate the recent cybersecurity incident \u201cwhile safely restoring county systems and services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProtecting County data remains our highest priority,\u201d the county said in a release.<\/p>\n<p><span data-bsp-pv=\"4f8e492c-6f2f-390e-bc61-f176d3a37ab9\"\/><span data-bsp-pv=\"0000019f-4dd3-d398-a19f-fdf7a2d50000\"\/><br \/>Because an active investigation continues, \u201cwe are unable to discuss specific details regarding the incident at this time,\u201d the county said.<\/p>\n<p>As restoration efforts continue, some county services remain limited.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"treasurers-office\">TREASURER&#8217;S OFFICE<\/h3>\n<p>Staff is available to answer questions related to vehicle titles and other Treasurer\u2019s Office matters.<\/p>\n<p>The office is currently unable to process vehicle registrations or accept payments of any kind.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicle registration renewals remain available online at my605drive.sd.gov and at self-service kiosks.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals whose temporary license plates expire within the next week should visit the Treasurer\u2019s Office at 900 Concourse Drive for options.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"auditors-office\">AUDITOR&#8217;S OFFICE<\/h3>\n<p>Early voting remains available.<\/p>\n<p>The office is unable to process lien payments at this time.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"register-of-deeds\">REGISTER OF DEEDS<\/h3>\n<p>Birth, death and marriage certificates remain available online through VitalChek.com or by calling 605-773-4961<\/p>\n<p>The Register of Deeds Office is currently accepting real estate recordings; however, they cannot be fully processed at this time.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"planning-zoning\">PLANNING &#038; ZONING<\/h3>\n<p>Staff is now able to manually process building permits.<\/p>\n<p>The Planning &#038; Zoning Commission will meet as scheduled on July 13 to elect officers. All other agenda items will be continued to the July 27 meeting.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"county-commission\">COUNTY COMMISSION<\/h3>\n<p>County Commission meetings will continue as scheduled. Due to the cybersecurity incident, meetings may not be livestreamed.
