The time capsule is set to be unsealed in 2276 for America\u2019s 500th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-1059534\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It remains to be seen if this iPhone will actually function once the 500th anniversary rolls around in 2276. As many have pointed out, the battery is incredibly likely to go bad before then.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nonetheless, if it does work somehow \u2013 the phone includes some \u2018digital artifacts\u2019 that people will be able to look through in the Notes app by then.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The iPhone is just under 20 years old, so it\u2019s hard to imagine what technology will look like in another 250 years.
