According to a Bloomberg report, the tech giant is testing new iPad Pro models, developing a redesigned entry-level MacBook Pro, and accelerating the rollout of its next-generation M7 chip. If the reported timeline holds, these products could arrive in the first half of 2027 alongside the entry-level iPhone 18 and several other devices.

Apple is expected to release four new iPad Pro models in spring 2027. Rather than introducing new display sizes, the company is expected to retain the current 11-inch and 13-inch screens while focusing on upgrading internal components.

Bloomberg notes that Apple is also considering a vapour chamber to cool the iPad Pro, enabling sustained performance while preventing overheating.

New entry-level MacBook Pro expected in 2027

A redesigned entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro is expected to arrive in the first half of 2027 under the internal codename “K104.” The device is said to adopt a design language similar to the 16-inch and 18-inch laptops with touch displays that Apple is set to release between later this year and early 2027.

A visually identical entry-level MacBook Pro powered by the base M6 chip, internally codenamed “J804,” is expected to launch later in 2026, ahead of the M7-based successor. The last major update to the entry-level MacBook Pro came in October 2025. Apple declined to comment on the report.

Apple is also preparing to release its next-generation M7 silicon in the first half of 2027, with the transition from the M6 chip expected to accelerate faster than usual. Apple is also said to be optimising the architecture for more demanding on-device AI tasks.

Tightened supply chain to delay launches?

Not all expected 2027 launches are guaranteed to happen on schedule, as supply chain constraints—particularly in memory and silicon—are reported to be affecting several product timelines.

The tech giant also raised prices…

Source

https://img.theweek.in/content/dam/week/en/archive/news/sci-tech/images/2026/7/4/apple-iphone-rtrs.jpg
[43
51
post-285592","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-macintosh","tag-macbook-pro
