Approximately 12,000 HID fixtures will remain for future upgrading,\u201d Surrey\u2019s manager of engineeringScott Neuman explained to council in a corporate report. <\/p>\n<p>Council authorized an $183,690 agreement between city hall and the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority to support the upgrade, as well as buying 1,003 LED streetlight fixtures from LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. to cost $445,000, and awarded a $142,342 contract to Standard Electric BC Ltd.
