But the good news is patches are being worked on to address this Intel Linux kernel display driver shortcoming.<\/p>\n<p>Gil Dekel of Google has been posting patches this week to get HDR over DP MST working for the Intel driver. Today is already a second revision of the work to fix some issues with the original patch posting.<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.phoronix.net\/image.php?id=linux-hdr-2025&#038;image=linux_hdr_1_med\" alt=\"Linux HDR\"\/><\/p>\n<p>With the patches adding just around 60 lines of new code, it&#8217;s then possible to enable HDR over DP MST connections.
