The timeline is not years, it is months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After all that scary stuff, the spook bosses offer some antidote: \u201cCyber resilience is integral to advancing business continuity, market confidence, and long-term value.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And how might one achieve that resilience? The Five Eyes have four suggestions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Understand and assess risk, readiness and accountability<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Prioritize foundational cyber security practices and controls<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Empower cyber leaders with authority and resources<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Stay actively engaged as threats and guidance evolve<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cCyber risk can no longer be treated as a purely technical issue,\u201d the advice points out. \u201cThis is a core business risk and leadership responsibility,\u201d because breaches are inevitable and \u201cBreaches will occur.
