The Tata Electronics plant in \u200cHosur in southern Tamil Nadu state was sent a warning notice by the state pollution control board on May 25 for allegedly contaminating groundwater in adjacent farms.<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"promo-box\" class=\"text-module__text__0GDob text-module__dark-grey__UFC18 text-module__regular__qJJtA text-module__small__sph8i body-module__base__o--Cl body-module__small_body__gOmDf article-body-module__promo-box__hVl8h\"> Sign up  here.<\/p>\n<p>Tata said in a statement this week that the pollution board had dropped its scrutiny after confirming its analysis of recently collected water samples from inside the facility did &#8220;not indicate any contamination&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The pollution board and the state have not commented on the matter and did not respond to Reuters emails and phone calls requesting comment.
