Here are the details.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-1057626\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-tata-again-under-scrutiny\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tata again under scrutiny<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last month, Apple supplier Tata was warned of a possible shutdown at one of its iPhone component plants in India, after the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board alleged that wastewater from the facility had contaminated groundwater in adjacent farms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this week, Tata said that the regulator had dropped further action against the plant, after the company submitted its response and addressed the issues raised in the warning notice:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Tuesday, Tata told Reuters in a \u2060statement that the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board had confirmed that the company \u201chas satisfactorily addressed all queries \u200bmentioned\u201d in the warning notice and \u201cdropped any further course of action on this issue\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, it appears that scrutiny surrounding the alleged contamination is not over yet.
