RDNA4 refresh? Or a lot of signals have pointed to GFX125x being possible AI\/HPC accelerators such as for the upcoming Instinct MI400 series. Adding to the intrigue is GFX1251 being an APU. The latest LLVM compiler activity is further pointing to GFX1250\/GFX1251 being for enterprise hardware.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever the AMD GFX1250 series ends up being for, it&#8217;s quite exciting in doubling the number of SGPRs &#8211; scalar general-purpose registers, new instructions for better memory efficiency, and other improvements.<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.phoronix.net\/image.php?id=2026&#038;image=amdgpu_sram_ecc_1_med\" alt=\"AMDGPU SRAMECC\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The newest indicator of GFX1250\/GFX1251 being for enterprise is seeing the LLVM Git activity yesterday with those new AMD GPU targets both being flagged for &#8220;FEATURE_SRAMECC&#8221;. This feature flag is for indicating static RAM ECC.
