Tuesday, Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data Ada Chung Lai-ling said the office would also strive to implement and support the city\u2019s first five-year plan.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cAs an educator and reformer, I am delighted to announce the launch of the Hong Kong International Data Privacy Academy, which will serve as a flagship training platform through a rich programme of public seminars, professional workshops and dialogues with leading experts,\u201d she said in her welcome remarks.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cWe aim to build Hong Kong into an international hub for high-calibre privacy professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">According to the academy\u2019s website, the institution seeks to provide practitioner-oriented training with an international dimension to help organisations and the public manage evolving local and cross-jurisdictional compliance requirements.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\"
