While previous versions focused primarily on helping schools respond responsibly to emerging AI tools, the 2026 edition represents a complete rewrite that reflects the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, the growing complexity of its societal impacts and Arizona\u2019s broader movement and urgency to redesign learning for the future.\n<\/p>\n<p>Stewarded by Northern Arizona University\u2019s Arizona Institute for Education and the Economy, the guidance was shaped through collaboration with Arizona educators, school leaders, instructional technology experts, state agencies, parents, students and national AI and education thought leaders.
