Eider Mendoza<\/strong> and Unai Andueza<\/strong>, representatives of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa<\/strong>, visited Biele<\/strong>‘s facilities in Urrestilla to learn about their new industrial inspection system based on artificial intelligence and quantum technology.<\/p>\n

Eider Mendoza<\/strong>, General Deputy of Gipuzkoa<\/strong>, and Unai Andueza<\/strong>, Deputy for Economic Promotion and Strategic Projects, visited the facilities of the company Biele<\/strong>, located in the Larra\u00f1aga<\/strong> industrial estate in Urrestilla. There, they learned about the “pioneering system” for industrial inspection created using artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum technology. The Provincial Council, through its Gipuzkoa Quantum<\/strong> program, has granted aid of 70,261 euros to Biele Group<\/strong> for the development of this system.<\/p>\n

Alongside Txomin Andonegi<\/strong>, director of Biele Group<\/strong>; Agosti Aranburu<\/strong>, technology director; Naiara Aldazabal<\/strong>, human resources director; and Olatz Galarza<\/strong>, general director of Biele Digital<\/strong>, the provincial representatives analyzed the project being developed at this machine tool company, along with its innovation strategy and the challenges it faces.<\/p>\n

The focus of the meeting was to follow up on the project launched with the support of the Gipuzkoa Quantum<\/strong> program. With the new system being developed at Biele<\/strong>, “an advanced visual inspection system based on optimized artificial intelligence will be developed, capable of efficiently integrating into automated production lines and ensuring real-time and precise detection of defects in manufactured parts.” The company has used quantum-inspired techniques aimed at “understanding and optimizing artificial vision models,” and this “innovative approach” will allow for “deploying advanced algorithms in industrial environments with limited computational resources.”<\/p>\n

According to the provincial institution, the practical application of technologies like those being developed at Biele<\/strong> will “strengthen key processes related to the automation, digitalization, and control of industrial quality.”…<\/p>\n
