Israeli cybersecurity startup Aryon Security, founded only about a year and a half ago, has raised 25 million dollars in a Series A round, with investors including former prime minister and IDF chief of staff Ehud Barak, actor Assi Cohen and singer Omer Adam.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The round was led by U.S.-based cybersecurity-focused venture capital firm BrightMind and Skinos Ventures, the new investment fund of serial cybersecurity <\/span><\/span>entrepreneur Shlomo Kramer<\/span><\/span>, one of the founders of Check Point. Also participating were publicly traded software company Datadog, venture capital firms Viola and Blumberg Capital, <\/span><\/span>CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>Armis founders Yevgeny Dibrov<\/span><\/span> and Nadir Izrael, and real estate entrepreneur Assi Touchmair.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The company’s total funding since its establishment in late 2024 now stands at 38 million dollars .<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Aryon develops a security platform for cloud environments, the remote servers where organizations store their data. The problem it seeks to solve is a familiar one: when an organization migrates to the cloud, it must manage tens of thousands of system configurations, and even a small misconfiguration can create a security vulnerability that attackers may exploit within minutes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Until now, traditional security systems typically detected vulnerabilities only after they had already been created and then attempted to remediate them. Aryon says its platform takes a different approach by preventing vulnerabilities from emerging in the first place.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The company’s three founders \u2014 Ron Arbel, Ariel Litmanovich and Yair Ladizhensky \u2014 are alumni of Matzov, one of the IDF’s cybersecurity units.
