I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0know about you, but\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0terrible at managing my passwords.\u00a0Despite being\u00a0warned\u00a0multiple times, I\u00a0still use\u00a0the same password for a few different accounts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And I still rely on the password managers built into the likes of Chrome and Firefox,\u00a0even though\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0considered less secure than dedicated services.\u00a0Oops.<\/p>\n

To make matters worse, when Google,\u00a0Mozilla\u00a0or the website itself warns me that\u00a0some of\u00a0my passwords\u00a0could be compromised (or have just stayed the same for too long) and need to be changed, I never get around to it.\u00a0Don\u2019t\u00a0even get me started on the passkeys I keep getting told to use!<\/p>\n

Apple\u2019s disastrous AI rollout has justifiably made it the butt of many jokes.\u00a0But at WWDC 2026, the company revealed what could be the\u00a0perfect solution to my password woes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A perfect solution \u2013 in theory<\/h2>\n

The iPhone has had a dedicated Passwords app for the last two years.\u00a0But by integrating AI\u00a0in iOS 27, Apple is stealing a march on the competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Just like rivals, it prompts you to change passwords used across multiple accounts or those that could be related to a data breach. However, instead of\u00a0changing each one manually, Apple will now use AI to do it for you.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Yep, you read that right. With a\u00a0single tap (or so Apple claims),\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0be able to get an unsafe password changed and have the new one automatically saved across all your Apple devices. Perfect.<\/p>\n

I want to see if AI can help me finally get my passwords in check<\/p>\n

The process uses agentic AI, appearing to lean heavily on Apple\u2019s partnership with Google Gemini. Which begs the question\u2026 why\u00a0hasn\u2019t Google already added it to Android?\u00a0<\/p>\n
