Over <strong>800 individuals and 200 teams participated in this year&#8217;s competition,<\/strong> which began in January with virtual qualifiers.<\/p>\n<p>The competition, which concluded the last week of May, saw <strong>only the top federal cyber operatives advancing to the finals in the Washington, DC area. <\/strong>Participants had the opportunity to compete in three tracks:<strong> Individuals Defensive Track, Individuals Offensive Track, and Teams. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CISA leads and hosts the President\u2019s Cup each year to identify, challenge, and reward the best cyber talent across the federal workforce.\u00a0 The competition features high-impact cybersecurity scenarios \u2014from responding to incidents and analyzing digital evidence to reverse engineering and hunting for threats\u2014 and it is <strong>open to federal civilian employees, as well as active duty and reserve military personnel.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each stage of the competition challenged their <strong>endurance, creativity, and technical expertise<\/strong>. The simulated missions required <strong>precision, resilience, and deep technical knowledge, reflecting high-stakes cyber operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The winners of the President\u2019s Cup are: Defensive Track Champion &#8220;sheriffsparks&#8221; from the United States Navy;\u00a0Offensive Track Champion &#8220;bdubya&#8221; from the United States Army, and Teams Champion &#8220;ENOENTHUSIASM,&#8221; a collaboration between the United States Army and United States Marine Corps.<\/p>\n<p>These champions distinguished themselves through sharp analysis, decisive action, and advanced cyber tradecraft.
